LAST DAYYY!!!!

Last day of class!!!! Woohoo!! Stupidly, I somehow did not realize that we had to turn in a hard copy of our journal/reflection so i am going to have to go during class (in a few minutes) to print of a copy. Thank you Professor P for letting us turn it in at the end of class!! Oh, and yay for no more blog entry's!

Almost Done

My group and I met with Professor P earlier and that definitely helped to clarify some things about our Wiki assignment. I definitely feel a lot better about it now. A few minutes ago I finished editing my part of the Wiki so now all I have to do is write that journal/reflection thing... Oh and just by the way, I am SOO ready for this blogging to be over!

Journal???

So, today is our second to last day to work on our Wiki assignments in class, though I do not really want to have anything left to work on by the time Wednesday's class comes around. Maybe some last minute touches but I hope my group is completely finished with it by tomorrow. I do still need to write the journal for it and to be honest, I have no idea what i am going to write on that...

Knowledge vs. Intelligence

Well it took me long enough, but I finally just finished my part on the Wiki assignment. Once I sat down and started writing it it really was not bad at all. The topic is really interesting and the idea of difference between knowledge vs. intelligence is something that a lot of people, including myself, do not often consider. Rose has so many good points in just chapter one of his book Why School? I am excited to read other groups Wiki's.

Late as usual..

I still have not had time to finish writing my two sections for my groups Wiki assignment. I was planning on writing it this evening but last minute I got asked to babysit for some friends at the track meet. I was going anyways because one of my best guy friends is a pole vaulter, which I think is one of the most amazing sports,  but I ended up having to watch the girls until about eight o'clock and they are EXHAUSTING!!! Looks like i'll be getting up and writing it in the morning. Ya know, just doing things last minute as usual...

Sleep at Last!!

So, after, I kid you not, the busiest week of my life (I have only gotten twelve hours of sleep since Monday) I am finally done with classes for the day and I am about to go home and completely pass out. I still need to finish writing my half of our Wiki assignment but I probably wont do that until tomorrow or Sunday. So happy for some sleep!!

Yayyy

Oh my God! Oh my God!!! So I have been sitting in our chapter room for the past four hours studying for a history exam that I was suppose to make up in the morning and I just got an email from my professor saying that she completely forgot that she had a doctors appointment in the morning so we would have to reschedule for Friday. Hell yes! looks like I'm going to drink specials :)

Ouch

I didn’t even realize until today that yesterday was Friday the thirteenth. I’m not superstitious about that kind of stuff though, but last night was pretty crazy… let’s just say that I plan on spending the rest of the day curled up in my bed. Nope, no Rodeo for me!

Is It Fifty Yet??

I’m actually sitting in class right now and I decided since and since I’m not being very productive I’ve decided that I should go ahead and write this blog entry so I don’t forget… I really will be so glad when I have fifty of these things and can stop! Knowing me that will be on the last day though haha

Social Hour

So, I definitely like how we have all this time in class to work on our group assignment but I can’t say that my group and I have really gotten anything done. I’m pretty sure it just makes it a mandatory hour of social time and then we go home and work on it. Haha oh well I mean as long as it gets done somehow…

Ummm..

In class today we decided how we are going to split up our Wiki assignment and I guess I understand it a little better now but I’m glad we have two weeks until it is finished. Also, when I was looking at the Unit 4 directions I saw that we have to write some kind of journal too… don’t we do enough journaling with this thing??

WHY???

I just realized that we have an assignment due in class tomorrow but thank the Lord one of the people in my group has already done it. Wow I feel like such a slacker. I really hate group projects because I feel like it makes everything more complicated. Why couldn’t we just be writing another paper on a chapter out of Why School?

Driving..

Dont judge me but I am in the middle of driving back to Auburn right now... hah yes, technically this is probably worse than texting and driving but I don't think they have ever made any rule about blogging and driving... :) But as for class, I still have no idea what in the world this Wiki thing is or how it works. I guess I'll find out wednesday in class.

The Grand Hotel

HAPPY EASTER!!!! I went with My entire family, like aunts, cousins, grandparents, all those people, to brunch this morning at The Grand Hotel. It was so delicious and now I'm sitting by the pool with my brothers not wanting to go back to Auburn. Thankfully, I have a doctors appointment here in the morning so I don't have to drive back until tomorrow. How lucky am I!

Chloe :)

I'd have to say the best thing about being home is getting to see my baby Chloe! She is my seven month old rescue dog. Yes, she is mine but she lives at home with mom. How unfair is that?! Basically It was a friend of my brothers who rescued the litter and I fell in complete love the first time I met her. My mom was so not up for getting another dog but being the rebel that I am I decided to just bring her home one day. What do ya know, now mom LOVES her and won't spend more that a few hours away from her. haha I WANT MY PUPPY BACK!

Ryker

I was done with class at eleven this morning and now I am babysitting the most adorable sixth month old in the world!! His name is Ryker and seriously he is precious! He's asleep right now otherwise I would post a picture but y'all will just have to take my word for it. But, as soon as I'm done here I get to head home!!!

Class Canceled

Ummmm… So who is thoroughly confused by this whole Wiki assignment?? Anyone? Cause I definitely am. But I am SO pumped that they canceled class for Friday because that means that I get to go home for Easter tomorrow night! Yayyy! Easer has to be one of my favorite Holidays I’m not exactly sure why…
